How do I convert numeric decimal notation from comma to dot and vice versa?
Thanks

Thank you for answering!

Our software Domino 5.2 runs on Linux suse 7.2.
We are in Germany and are using the comma to separate
decimal values in numbers. This causes a problem when we run an agent in domino because the Lotus script format function on Domino expects a dot to separate numeric values.
On the Linux side we tried the LC_ALL and en_US commands to convert the numeric display but it does not work.

So how do we tell Linux to accept the comma as a decimal value
separator? Or how do we convert the comma to a dot in Linux?
Without changing the whole local settings to US?

Thank you in advance
