I have my vsftpd set up so that I can upload files to my /var/www/html directory with a login i made specifically for that. The only things I seem to have problems with are overwriting files with cuteftp... tells me the server times out. Although this is not a problem in Dreamweaver when I open up the directory and save the files after I work on them. What is really the issue is the error I get when I try to open an empty directory. The server gives me an error and won't bring me into the directory. Is there any way I can fix that?
