Check if email exist or not

Hello all!

Can somebody tell me, I need a Linux program/command, that can tell me if some email address exist or not.

With PHP command I can check if MX exist, and I heard that there si some Linux command that can give me information if email exist or not.

Are you referring to a remote mail server that you don't administer? Just email it and see if it's returned or not..
