Unhappy change mozilla default email client

I might be thick but is there a way to change the way mozilla handles the mailo: links ? Put differently, how do I specify I want to use kmail for example when clicking on an email address ?

Thanks for any clues

mozex is what you need.
Follow the instructions, install it and restart mozilla.

Then you go into Edit/Preferences and you will see mozex under the Advanced category.
Select it.
You'll see "Intercept clicks" on the right, select "mailto" and in the "Commands" section add this line in the "Mailer" field.
Code:
/usr/bin/evolution mailto:%a?subject=%s
That should do it.

Question How to use Thunderbird

I installed mozex and it shows up fine in preferences in Mozilla.

I have thunderbird-0.6 installed. I used the same command but it works fine only if thunderbird is not already running. If it is already running, I get the message about profiles and stuff.

So, is there a way we can say that we just want to launch the compose window - irrespective of whether Thunderbird is running or not.
