cgi-bin: "attempt to invoke directory as script"

Hey

I am trying to set up cgi on my server. I had some other problems this afternoon, but I fixed them.

My problem now is that when I go to http://server/cgi-bin/script.cgi, the browser has to download the script and then run it in the browser. The Script Alias is to /usr/www/cgi-bin

Looking at the logs, the error is:

Code:
[Thu Dec 09 17:37:13 2004] [error] [client MASKED] attempt to invoke directory as script: /usr/www/cgi-bin/
Does anyone have any suggestions? This is relaly frustrating me!!

Hamish
