CentOS LAN router software

I am setting up a server with CentOS 5.5 on it and I was hoping to make it into a router for my Home network. I am displeased with the lack of tools on household routers and would like to set up this box as a router instead. Is there a program to set up my box as a router which has a decent GUI interface which can be accessed like a normal router through a web browser (ex: Http://192.168.x.x)?

Thanx!!!

well it seems that it runs as its own operating system. I have seen several other linux distros that are built to be a router but I was looking for something that I could install on top of CentOS. maybe using webmin?? I dont know. I was just hoping maybe someone else knew.

Sorry, I thought you were setting up a sever just for that. If the server has extra overhead you could run a VM and run all data to and from it but more time and trouble.

I assume you don't mean something like webmin, that you want a complete router app sort of download that one can run and config from a browser. Dunno of one.

Maybe some other people may have a good idea.

Your problem is you want a GUI (for whatever reasons undisclosed) and Centos isn't a routing-centric distribution as RHEL isn't. How about using Vyatta instead? Vyatta provides a web GUI, but it's disabled by default to ensure maximum security. Do note that being able to work a point-n-click GUI doesn't necessarily make you a Router God.
