Question ATI Wonder VE TV/Capture Card

Was wondering if Linux had support for my ATI Wonder VE TV/Capture Card. Wondering if i can capture video and watch TV, with some other type of software that ATI hasn't released. Since all their software is windows based.

Thanks for any information you can give me!!

it's meant to work fine using the stanard already-on-your-system-even-though-you-didn't-know-it bttv drivers

apparently, a workaround to manually configure the card for you if yast or kudzu or whatever doesn't pick it up right is to manually edit your /etc/modules.conf file to include...

alias char-major-81 videodev
alias char-major-81-0 bttv
options bttv card=10 tuner=2
options tuner type=2

as for software, i recommend xawtv, it's really simple to use and works really well, and is very standard as far as distro's go.

capturing... well the main one is 'vcr' which is pretty basic, but does a very good job.

Forgot to let you know what distro I use. Currently I'm using Slackware 8.0. I'm sure it didn't find it automatically so I would probably have to configure it manually. I'll go with what you posted above. I greatly appreciate your time!!
