apache virtual hosts: how do I view them on local network?

Hi all, I am running apache 2 and have several sites running using virtual hosts. The sites are all working great as long as you view them from somewhere that's not on the local network, but locally, typing in any url's hosted on the local server go straight to my dsl modem's admin system. The dls modem is running a firewall with port forwarding for port 80 to allow HTTP traffic, so I have my domain names pointed to my dsl modem's external IP address. Internally, the dsl modem is my gateway and has the ip of 192.168.0.1. All systems in the house are Windows that I would be editing the sites and previewing them on, so I would need to know how to do this from the windows end, since that is probably where the problem is. Does anyone know the best way to get these virtual hosts to work internally?

thanks,

A quick and dirty way is to modify your Hosts file (C:\Winnt\system32\drivers\etc\hosts). Add in a line for each virtual host:

192.168.0.10 host1.domain.com
192.168.0.10 host2.domain.com
etc.

This will take precedence over an nslookup and allow you to test your virtual hosts.
