well if you are reading this i could use help i am tring ti install open box
i got this far lol

what should i do with openbox-current.tar.gz

you will likely have to do the following:

Code:
tar xzf openbox-current.tar.gz
cd openbox-current
./configure
make
su <passowrd>
make install
After that, goto openbox's website and read the docs to see how to get into openbox.

as you can see this is my fist time command line installing YaST usually dose it all for me

Ok, if your used to doing it the easy way, here is a link to download the rpm which you can use yast to install with.

Assuming you are using suse 9.X, here is the link: Openbox 3.2-2.

Otherwise, check this site out:

If you are still trying to compile it from source why don't you try reading the README files or run the install.sh script with ./install-sh or sh install-sh. Also please pick more descriptive title, naming a thread '???' doesn't tell anyone what your problem is and wastes a lot of time.
