Setup x2goserver on a debian 11 box, and it seemed to be working fine, including audio forwarding.
For whatever reason the realtek integrated ethernet interface would shutdown randomly like it was going to sleep. I threw in a nic based on the intel 82576 and the network sleep/fail issue went away.
But now for whatever reason audio is not being forwarded through the x2go connection. whenever I access something with audio I can hear it being played over the internal speaker in the PC.
I tried updating the config file as suggested in the FAQ, but no joy.

my searching has turned up nothing recent or seemingly relevant.
Any suggestions on how to get audio to redirect through the x2go session again, instead of playing locally on the PC, would be appreciated.

Enable sound is selected in x2go client session profile along with pulse-audio
x2goserver is on a Dell Optiplex 3010

Thanks for any suggestions, or clues where to look.
