Question what is transparent proxy squid in linux


Hi All,

what is transparent proxy squid in linux ? And how it works ?
Can Transeparent proxy log come in SARG report ?

This is my confusion , I am also working on the same. Thanks all in advance.

Again, yes, it can be used, with the caveats that were put on it. That is, what identifiers will be used in the report. And again, your questions don't make alot of sense. You ask about using Sarg to report on a transparent squid proxy...then say you don't even KNOW what a transparent proxy is. How/why did you set it up, if you don't know what it is, or what it does? And did you bother to check Google, or even the Squid docs??
