You will probably want to look into Chili!ASP, which is now owned by Sun. As far as I know, it's the only ASP interpreter that does not require IIS.

By the way, RH9 and your version of Apache are both quite dated. RH9 has been end-of-lifed for three years and no updates have been released for it since Fedora Legacy shut down last year. A host of patches are availabe in Apache 2.0.59 that fix numerous flaws in 2.0.40, including cross-site attacks and DoS attack vulnerabilities. See the whole list here.

Sounds like maybe the actual Apache module is not loading, so references to its code are failing.
What output do you get from
Code:
grep LoadModule /etc/httpd/conf/htppd.conf
and
Code:
grep CaspLib /etc/httpd/conf/htppd.conf

Maybe it is overload just to serve asp pages, but I think mono (http://www.mono-project.com/Main_Page) should do what you want.

Hi,

i didnt completly get wat you mean by mod_asp, the lines added to the httpd.conf file

LoadModule casp2_module /opt/casp/module/linux2_i686_optimized/apache_2.0.x/20020628/standard/mod_casp2.so

AddHandler chiliasp .asp
AddHandler chiliasp .asa
CaspLib /opt/casp/asp-server-3000

Tell me what exactly do you want to know.

Regards,
Arsha

Sorry, typo. It should have been httpd.conf, not htppd.conf. Try again?
