Hello all expert linux user, i trult a newbie to linux world.
I have set up a gateway of usign openbsd 4.1 but i want to ssh between gateway and the inernal netowork which using Fedora 7.
My gateway is 10.0.0.10 address. That's mean i should ssh 10.0.0.10. I know how to install ssh .Just by doing yum install ssh. This package management will take care all the dependecies for you.
My question is does ssh considered as vpn ? I want to know whether this is a goo idea. For more information, please look at Linux-Networking section title DHCPD Problem.

ssh is *NOT* a vpn in any way at all. it is very secure, but is not a vpn. and yes, ssh is always a good idea for what ssh is for - remote console access.
