Squirrelmail mail login problem need to slove

Hello Everyone, am a new user in linux and am trying to create a mail server. i install postfix and dovecot and also squirrelmail. i did try to configure everything. but when i am trying to login in squirrelmail i can't and the error showing is
"error connecting to IMAP server:mail.uvwx.com....."

please help me to slove this problem

the problem i was facing before was solved but now am facing a new problem and that is i can send mail form squirrelmail but i am not receving any mail in squirrelmail.

please help me to solve this problem

This could be due to many reasons. I do not know what procedure you followed and hard to give answer.
Try to send email to local user. If you could receive possibly external issue. Such as you server in NAT network.
