I configured a dhcp and squid server on my RHEL5 box and I have 2 clients which are connected to internet through my box.
I changed my hostname in /etc/sysconfig/network and in /etc/hosts ,Now in client machines there in no access to internet saying
Check your DNS server if you have access to it and change the name/IP combination to reflect the changes you've performed on your RedHat system. Then try again.

I have not configured DNS server ,I didn't change nywhere except the two fields I've mentioned .
That's why it's not working. You have to configure your DNS server because you changed the hostname of your server and most likely it's not getting updated to your DNS.

But one thing befoe changing everything was working well in localhost.localdomain but now not working with the same localhost.localdomain ,why ?
