MX Record IN DNS


Why do we use mx record???

Hi,

The MX records define the mail servers that accept mail for a domain. Thus if the mail address is user@domain.com the mail agent will issue an MX query for domain.com and will route the mail accordingly. You can take a look at RFC 1035 for specifications
