perhaps you might care to mention what the issue was and how it was solved for those with similar issues who might read this thread when they search :-)

One command is necessary:

# authdaemond start

OS -- debian etch

You must create maildir with command "maildirmake" not with "mkdir".

Well..I can't receive emails on root@example.com but on the other users I can. Log file:

When I send email to my server to user root, that sent email gets other user "USERNAME" not root. Where was my mistake? Or this isn't a mistake?
