Is Nullmailer still the easiest thing to use to mail simple script updates from a VPS?

I've used nullmailer in the past and it was great.

But since gmail has locked down things it's getting wonky on me.

It was working fine and then all of a sudden "smtp: Failed: 454-4.7.0 Too many login attempts, please try again later. For more information"

Only have like a few emails in the queue dir.

So either I need to figure out what is wrong or find a better solution.

Distro is Ubuntu 22.04.3

How are you running it and how often?

It's just running when called.

I do think system notices are attempting to go through it, not really sure how to control that.
