How to install & configure sendmail on readhat linux

You want to look into postfix. That is what is shipped with redhat 7.

It's quite possible your Red Hat server already has a different MTA installed, such as dovecot or exim. I know the docs refer to dovecot. https://access.redhat.com/documentat...h-mail_servers

Since you are using Red Hat, you should have a RHEL license. Have you checked with Red Hat support?

Then you need to stop where you are. Configuring email is *NOT* a simple thing, unless it's just for internal use. If you just want a relay to an external mail server, that's fairly easy. Which is why there are MANY easily-found how-to guides that are already written about how to configure and install both sendmail and postfix on RHEL. Since you found this site with an Internet search, you can also find those guides. Read the "Question Guidelines" link in my posting signature.

Also, since you say you're using RHEL, have you contacted Red Hat support, since you're PAYING FOR RHEL, RIGHT????

How to install & configure sendmail on readhat linux

Sendmail is deprecated on Rhel 7. It says so in the docs. Don't use it. It is much more difficult to configure sendmail than it is to configure postfix anyway. Also, dovecot is used for receiving email. Postfix is the default mail transport for Rhel 7, at least it was the last time I read the docs.
