find out hierarchy from disk to filesystem

Hi,
I 've got a server to manage, which has not been set up by myself and there is no documenation.
It 's has a few disks with raid0, raid1 and raid5 constructs built with mdadm and logical volumes on top or below the raids. On top of them are the file systems.
Now I would like to find out how I get the hierarchy from the disk (shown as atan in dmesg) up to the filesystem, e.h. what partitions are part of a raid or lvm, then the raid or lvm and the filesystem.
Is there a tool to extract from the system?
Thanks in advance
Regards
didiw

Also check /proc/mdstat and the mdadm command for soft raid and have a look at the lvm documentation in order to see the partition (vgs, lvs and so on).
