Unhappy fedora upgrade 20 to 22 RDP connection not going through

I managed to upgrade fedora 20 to Fedora 21 then 22 using instructions in the wiki page. I always used RDP to connect to connect to my fedora VMs which was the case for this fedora VM as xRDP is setup and no issues since years. Following the upgrade, I manage to connect to the Fedora 22 machine on the host where the Fedora VM lives, however,, since the update, I try to connect using the RDP protocol from my laptop, I get an empty blue/green screen for hours. Is there any change for the RDP protocol in version 22? should this impacted configuration, if yes what is it?
Thanks
