Hi Guys,
Trying to migrate Mysql running on WinXP to SLES box.
I dumped the database on the windows box like this:
mysqldump --opt -u [uname] -p[pass] [dbname] > [backupfile.sql]
and transfered the 2GB sql file to the linux box I then tried to populate/restore the DB on the new server and it says it worked .... but there are no tables.
Please tell me what im doing wrong....
TIA
Code:
chclweb01:/srv/import # mysqldump -p ces < ces-db.sql
