"am getting an error after installing telnetd(ubuntu 12.04)"
after installing telnetd in ubuntu
when i use "sudo /etc/init.d/inetd restart" am getting following error sudo: /etc/init.d/inetd: command not found i also tried for xinetd again am getting same error HOW CAN I SOLVE THIS?.... |
Is xinetd installed?
Why do you need to run a telnet server? |
It doesn't look like those scripts exist, and with the push to upstart I am not too surprised. Try "sudo service inetd restart". If that doesn't work make sure they exist on your system.
