2 parents for squid proxy

hi
i have a squid proxy server and i would like to
define 2 parents for it with the below rule :
in normal case , i would like squid send all of traffic to parent 1. if parent 1 faild (goes down) , squid automatically redirects all of packets to parent 2.
is it possible? if yes, How?
thanks a lot

looks like you'd simply define two cache_peer are parents and use the weight=x option to show a preference for your primary one.
