FireStarter lists IP blocked that etherape lists as connections???

So I got a phishing email where they knew my last name which made me concerned with internet secruity in general.

Anyways I was running Etherape along with FireStarter and notice that myfirewall was blocking entires that Etherape list as connetions.

Could someone make sence out of this please?

Thanks for your expertise!

I don't know anything about etherape, but Firestarter is deprecated. I used to use it and really liked it, but, as I recall, the maintainers concluded that they did not have the resources to develop a 64-bit version and closed down the project about five years ago.

You might want to take a look a gufw as a replacement.
