cgroups - tasks in multiple hierarchies and same subsystems

Hi volks,

I was reviewing the rules about cgroups, tasks and hierarchies and I came across the following if you take into account these rules:

1. You can create multiple hierarchies with the same subsystem, only if these hierarchies don't contain any other subsystem

2. You can configure tasks within different cgroups at the same time, only if these cgroups are within different hierarchies.

My question is,

What if I have a set of tasks within cgroup A in hierarchy A and at the same type in cgroup B in hierarchy B and both hierarchies have the same subsystem attached, which one applies first?

Thank you in advance.
