application that tightens fedora security

i was surfing the net (during off time work hours heheh) and accidentally stumbled onto an application for fedora, red hat, and suse (rpm based distros) that helps you tighten up different security points on the OS. When i got home I wanted to give this thing a test spin to see what it does and if its anything good to use. However I cannot remember the name of this application, and i cant find the web-page (even by doing google searches).

May someone please help me out?

no it wasnt that, but thanks. This is an actuall gui application that provides a way of tightening and tweaking services, and config files to provide a more secure OS. Im not sure of the details of the application cause I stumbled on it at work, and didnt have time to read into it.

I haven't tried it, but it seems pretty comprehensive (judging from the screenshots, and documentation). Good find!

I am using bastille right now, under debian sid, and i found it very interesting and useful!

Just remember to tell it not to configure you firewall or it will break up your iptables instlalation.

Bye bye
