I was working on squid and i successfully installed the package and configured and running the squid on my system. And i am able to restrict the sites of what ever i want and what i want is how to restrict for a particular ip or mac address and where i have to mention that line how to right that can any body clearly say with example so that it will be very helpful.

Naresh there are enough discussion at this forum about this ip or url block, as i know to block a particular site (say example google) the better way is block the url instead of ip's because they may use more than one ip's for a url, however you can block ip and mac address in iptable
Ip addresses can be blocked using squid acls. You can restrict use of certain sites to certain ips as well.
Just use search function here at LQ that should give you a lot of answers.
You can use MAC addresses to control access by using the arp ACL type.
BTW, I'm editing your thread title to something more descriptive, since "squid_ip" doesn't really say much about your question. Please don't make a habit of using these excessively short titles.
