Access Control for Shutdown

Hi,

I would like to know whether I can create a login on my linux box. This login will be used only to shutdown the system. This login will also not have a shell.

Please let me know what are the necessary things I need to perform on my box.

Hi.

Have a look in System Settings -> Users and Groups in your KDE/GNOME menu. You should find that such a user already exists.
