New Feature: LQ Spy

Partially inspired by the Digg Spy functionality, I'm proud to announce that LQ Spy is now available. LQ Spy is an AJAX-based real time feed of all new LQ posts and threads. You also have the option to limit the feed to only show threads you have subscribed to.

http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/lqspy.php

As with many of the advanced LQ features, LQ Spy is only enabled once you are in the "Members" group (which means you need to have at least one post).

Very cool. I predict spending quite a bit of time staring at this page.

So it's a new feature.. I bumped into it yesterday and was quite surprised that I'd never seen it before. Guess I should read the news more often. :s

Hmm this is nifty, but would it be possible to add user filtering to the spy? so users can select what forums/sub forums are parsed by the spy?

We have no plans to add further filtering at this time, but it's something we may consider as a future enhancement.
