When watching streaming movies get temp too small error

While watching movies I get this window that pops up and tells me that the temp is too small how do I go about changing the size , and since I have a pretty much empty 20 gig in this box is there a way for me to change the temp to that drive. and as a side note would this improve the jerkyness of the movies?
