When trying to boot several distros I don't know what is wanted for CD-Rom boot type

My screen shows:

This both when I've purchased a disk and downloaded and recorded a disk, and with several distros.

What needs to be entered (or done) here?

I've been using Knoppix for years.

Probably shows both UEFI and non-UEFI entries for your CD image (I've seen this with USB, haven't used a real CD in quite a while). This is because the image is what is known as a hybrid and can boot on either an old BIOS machine or on newer UEFI firmware. I always select the UEFI option.
