I have installed Mint8. I was using VPN connection before to be able to use skype (it's blocked in the Middle East...) but can't get it to work in Linux
I've installed the network manager, added and configured the VPN connection but when I click on it to connect it doesn;t do anything. No window popping up, no error message...
anyone has got an idea what else I should do in order making it work?
or how else can I use skype without logging into private networks?
another "problem" we have got 2users on Linux and the other one cannot see the wifi icon in the bottom right corner on his desktop. after nm applet (or some command like that
) i got back that its been taken by another user. so can only one user see this icon on his desktop??
