Using Remarkable2 with Linux Mint

I've lately aquired a Remarkable2 e-reader. I discover that its supporting literature suggests that it can only be used with Iphone, Windows, and Android. I wondered it there was some way of making it compatible with my Linux Mint?

Have you searched with google or DDG to find out if there are ways to install linux? If not then that should be your first stop.

The Remarkable2 device is unique and only users of the same device might be able to answer so a more generalized search is suggested.

Remarkable isn't must help with Linux - so I expect I'll just have to wait for some kind soul to develop a Linux app for it.

The briefest of googlings shows that it runs linux and ships already rooted, supports usb tethering and various clouds and has a bunch of community sites. https://remarkable.guide/guide/access/index.html

Thanks very much! Now I discover that there are two ranges of ignorance that I must conquer before I can use my Remarkable - first I have to understand how to use Linux better, then I can get to work on the Remarkable! But it is something to know that there is help out there, and that my expensive device can be something more than a piece of dead plastic.

Now I'll get to work!
