Question uninstall - reinstall


I have redhat 8 on my computer and i has mucked up, say that i wanted to re-install it but i dont want to muck up my windows partitions can i just delete the linux partitions, re-create them and then re-install??????

just install it again, you won't muck up any windows things as long as you specify to use the same partitions again.

Nope. You can reformat the drives during the install if you'd like, but you don't have to uninstall anything (it's an OS, not a program).

5 hours! Takes me about 20 minutes, and I've got an AMD 900Mhz Athlon... Nothing fancy.

My 2nd puter is a P120/32M and it took me 24 solid hrs. to install Debian on it.

It sounds like he might have a 366 or something.
