First, welcome to LinuxQuestions.org. To get network hardware details (including wifi), you can run the following terminal command

lspci -nnk|grep -iA3 net
The chipset details are what count, and this command will also show if a driver is loaded.

A quick search online suggests this model laptop may be using an Intel Corporation Centrino wireless device...

So, check the output from the following command
