Transferring Postfix emails from old Centos 6 to Ununtu

HI

New to this group and have a question which I thought someone must have done them already but turn out not that common.

Is it possible to transfer old postfix, dovecot emails and accounts etc in centos 6 to a new server in Ubuntu with postfix dovecot.

The only mail held by Postfix would be the queue. Just stop Postfix at a point where the queue is empty, and nothing will be lost.

The Postfix and Dovecot configurations can be easily ported. Dovecot virtual users are migrated by copying over the mail (IMAP) directories and the account database/password backend, whatever those might be. What account/password database are you currently using?
