Swith User after connecting using VNC

Hi,
I am connecting to CentOS 6(Linux) server using RealVNC as "admin" user and everyting works fine. Now I want to switch user((not from terminal) but when I log out and try to log back in as a different user, all I get is a blank screen. What is the proper way to log in as a different user?

Thanks,
Pavan
