Sendmail Customization?

I am new to sendmail.Just Configured the Server on Fedora 9 Machine.
Whenever I run:

Code:
echo "Task is Performed Successfully on `date| mail -v -s Backup Report linuxfreaker@gmail.com"
It reports as mail from root.
I want it to name like sysadmin@MachineIP.
How can I go for that?

You could use MASQUERADE_AS feature and see if it is what you want.
