[SOLVED] Scanning not working in Linux Mint 19.1 but working with Mint 18.3

I have Samsung i7 2nd gen installed with Mint 19.1 Cinnamon and HP Envy 5540, they are connected to Wi-Fi router, printing is OK but Simple Scan could not detect HP Scanner.

I booted the computer using USB flash drive with Mint 18.3 Cinnamon, Simple Scan works perfectly.

I don't want to go back to Mint 18.3 unless I have no other choice.

How did you install the HP printer? If not by HPLIP then I would suggest you download HPLIP from HP and install it that way. I also suggest you use a downloaded version of HPLIP, not the Mint version. Sometimes the repo version does not activate scanning but the HP version does. I don't know why.

Thank you for your suggestion to my post promptly, I was able to connect to the scanner by reinstalled printer and install HPLIP Toolbox.
