Smile Raid 5 on Centos 6

Hi Guys,

any help for this issue will be really appreciated.

I have Sun X2200 server which is running CentOS 6.3 in house. I also have a Sun Storage J4200 connected to my server via SAS cable.

Centos has two MD partitions with raid 5, md1, and md0. each one contains 6 disks from Sun storage.

md0 is running always fine with no issue, the problem i am having right now is md1.

the md1 raid keep crashing, or stopping responding in read/write.

i have tried:

change the disk in Sun storage and re-build the whole md1 raid. it still has same issue.

in the beginning of raid initialization, i can see the sync speed is quite high, and then it is keep decreasing until to 3K/s, which just complete stopped re-sync.

also, the /var/log/message keep repeat with:

ernel: mptbase: ioc0: LogInfo(0x31110900): Originator={PL}, Code={Reset}, SubCode(0x0900) cb_idx mptscsih_io_done
May 28 12:14:32 backupsrv kernel: LSI Debug log info 31110900 for channel 0 id b

anyone know how should i fix this issue?

Thank you in advance.

Andy
