Hi,

Welcome to LQ!
It could be the problem of liveCD or hardware issue. Try to check with other liveCD distro. What is your hardware configuration?

I can boot my asus eee 1005 nice with Puppy-4.3.1 kernel-2.6.30.5+Xorg-1.3.0 and Racy-5.2.2 kernel-3.0.7+Xorg-1.11 .

Lupu kernel-2.6.33.2+Xorg.1.7 has a too sensitive touchpad running wild and Slacko-5.3.1 kernel-2.6.37.6+Xorg-1.9.5 gives me no widescreen 1024x600 but 1024x500_or_so .

Incredible that Puppy-4.3.1 runs better on newer hardware , than some later Puppies .
