Use another method. Download an ISO, burn it and boot it.

hmmm

I think the more likely problem is that you are not connected to the internet.
Try to ping debians server, and if you dont get a response you know why!
Cheers

Re problem with choosing a mirror while installing debian

Hi,

I have a good internet connection to download but its not accepting.

I decided to do one thing, I would like to go for download and burn a CD. In this case which ISO file for i386 (name of .iso file)i need to burn and make it bootable to start installation.

I tried to download and burn, but its not booting up (even after changing my BIOS settings to boot from CD ROM ) then only i went for Milans .exe file.

may i know where i'm doing wrong ?

Regards,
pawan.
