Question Printing Error... cannot print from command Prompt

Hi, i'm having problems with my printer Star_TSP700_, in suse 10.2 'cause i can't print from the command prompt, each time i type lp <some pdf> it just idle, and then if i check the printer with the gnome-cups-manager, the prompt starts printing this message endlessly:

(gnome-printer-view:18269): WARNING **: IPP request failed with status 1030

So i wanted to know if i'm doing something wrong or am i missing some drivers?? i'm really new to suse and linux hehe, if anyone could help it would be great.

Thanks in advance, Frame360

Does CUPS include a driver for the Star printer?

When you set up the printer, did you select that driver (if available).

You can find out more (and get the driver package) here:
