power save mode during rhel 6 installation

hi all
i am trying to install rhel 6 (86*64) on my windows 7 (AMD Sempron 145 processor) using DVD iso image. after selecting keyboard language and it goes to ther rest of the process for 20 seconds and then the monitor goes to power save mode. trying to input with keyboard or mouse does not seems to be helping. i have changed my windows 7 powersave options to "never". any idea why this could be happening?
thank u

You cannot install linux in windows unless you are running a VM (such as VMware).

Yes, but you will need to burn the ISO as an image to a disk.

yes i have burned the iso image into a dvd rhel6.0-200006221-server-x86_64-DVD1.iso. While rebooting my windows pressed F12, selected the CD boot method. Then the linux installation GUI came up, selected intall, keyboard, language, then before going to the next steps... as doing partions, pkg's selection, the installation kind of dies down (cant say what is happening because unable to see anything on the scree) or the monitor it self goes to power save mode. i am not sure why the monitor is going to power save mode.

This would be a good time to take advantage of your required subscription and contact RH.

Well the version i am using is "beta" from the redhat site. So I have no plans on purchasing it at this time. I am only doing this for educational purpose. I am thinking of doing RHCSA which sadly needs practice on RHEL 6.

Try a different video card. It sounds like windowing is trying to come up and fails?

You might try to install in text mode.
