performance analysis in redhat server 5

Hi,

My RedHat Server 5 machine is running slow from few days.Two application server including jboss and database server and also one samba server is installed on it.Systems h/w configuration is enough comfortable to run all these server.But this machine runs very slow ,I have also cheked the CPU,Memory and I/O usage its all ok.
What should be the reason slowing down system?
How can I gather the system performance analysis data and guide something about tunning the performace of the system.

Have a look at sysstat [1] and oprofile [2]. You could also look into monitoring with Nagios or similar.
A combination of these should allow you to find bottlenecks and perform pre-emptive 'surgery' if needs be
