open office


is there anyway to make open office correct french grammer and words?
is a plugin required or something?

OpenOffice doesn't have a grammar checker (I think StarOffice does).

For spell checking french, I think you just need to download and add the french word dictionary.

Neither StarOffice nor OpenOffice.org contain a grammar checker.

I went through a big ordeal with Sun, trying to get them to answer my simple question before I bought the product, for crying out loud... and I was disappointed to find that the answer was "no, but...." I personally don't care much for buts.

Greyweather was absolutely right about everything else.
