Welcome to LQ.
Most easy : Scientific Linux 6.3, CentOS 6.3, Fedora 17.
But not a perfect validation with all ns2 versions.
( A "compat gcc / g++" version 3.4.6 is default.)
Best validation result seems to be with : Debian, Ubuntu.
( But no default compilers for the most ns2 versions,
some special versions can be used.)
