No video output

Hi,
I am using debian squeeze. I recently upgraded my kernel from 2.6.32-686 to 3.2.0.0-686 using backport. After this, there is no video output. The problem exits only for video output, the sound of the video is working and video input is also working.

What boot loader are you using, Lilo? Grub? You need to boot with the old kernel. Then change your configuration to boot with the old kernel. At least until you get things figured out, like what other packages might need upgrading to suit the newer kernel. Also check with bugzilla.org to see what bugs have been reported for your new kernel. You might find what you need there.
