got the same result.
and as sidenote, when i got my whole device working yesterday, i only logged in and clicked on a file to see if it works, this was it and i havent touched the device again since then.

true, everthing is in root. I also noticed once i do the shortcut for Lock-screen which is META+L i cant unlock anymore since it would say my pw is wrong, so in order to login i have to avoid META+L or restart the device but i'm sure it has to do with the authetication info error.

I don't know the answer to this one. On second thought, I suspect that not all files were backed up due to running rsync as user instead of root. Did a test in a vm and yes not all files in /etc /var were backed up due to permission prblems plus a few symlinks. Looks like you will need to do a complete reinstall. Maybe starting a new thread with the details someone might know how to fix without reinstalling.

Are you sure you've got the good password and that it really is what u type ? Could be caps lock, azerty or special char thing…
